One Home Remains for Sale in Phase 1A at Brookfield's Rockrose

SAN DIEGO, CA, July 22, 2010 /Banking and Financial PR News/ -- Only one home remains for sale in Phase 1A at Rockrose at The Foothills by Brookfield Homes. In addition, the first Rockrose families are now moving in at the coastal close Carlsbad new home neighborhood.

"The first families have moved into their new neighborhood and celebrated with us the grand opening of the community's resort style Swim Club," said Lora Heramb, vice president of sales and marketing for Brookfield Homes. "It's an exciting time for new homebuyers, as they are at the heart of a brand new community taking shape."

Phase 1B is now selling at the eco-savvy Rockrose at The Foothills, with one sale already logged. Move-ins are anticipated for September. Prices range from the mid $600,000s. For more information, visit the Rockrose model homes and sales information center at 3538 Glen Ave., Carlsbad, or call at 888-284-8861.

Rockrose at The Foothills homeowners may save more than $1,000 per year on their electricity bills, according to a Rockrose Residence 2 bill analysis prepared by SDG&E, a Sempra Energy Utility.

"Our eco-savvy Rockrose new homes in Carlsbad are built to save energy, conserve water and reduce waste," explained Heramb.

With every home exceeding California's energy standards by at least 35 percent, Rockrose offers the most energy-efficient new homes in San Diego County, and Brookfield Homes is the first and only builder in San Diego County with production homes at these increased efficiency levels.

Energy efficiency is one of six areas of eco-savvy concentration incorporated into every home at Rockrose. The others are: water conservation, waste reduction, indoor air quality, sustainable building materials / wood conservation, and renewable energy / solar power (optional).

Upon completion, Rockrose at The Foothills will feature 101 single-family detached homes ranging from 2,116 to 3,167 square feet. The one- and two-story floor plans have three to four bedrooms and two to 4.5 baths.

The neighborhood is located just three miles from the ocean in one of Southern California's most sought-after cities. Carlsbad is widely known for its recreation, shopping and quality schools.
The Foothills master-planned community includes a swim club with solar-heated pool, kids pool and spa, two paddle tennis courts, barbecue area, fireplace conversation area, and tot lot.

Brookfield San Diego Builders, Inc. builds new homes in San Diego and Riverside counties. Brookfield currently is building in the master planned communities of The Foothills in Carlsbad, Windingwalk in Chula Vista, The Estates at StoneBridge east of Scripps Ranch in San Diego and Old Creek Ranch new homes in San Marcos.
